Phase II Expansion - 2010

Lot 60

Lot 60 rises moderately to the south some 200 feet into the lot then levels for more than 100 feet before commencing a moderate and then steep but not impassable descent to a shelf 100+ feet from Hickman Branch. This shelf offers a lovely opportunity to enjoy close proximity to Hickman Branch. The building site is near the crest of lot 60, which offers the opportunity to enjoy the rush of the mountain stream together with a view down the drainage of Hickman Branch. The timber cover is almost exclusively hardwood until you reach the stream side canopy of laurel and hemlock. Occasional pine is present on the descent toward Hickman Branch which typically runs full during the months of November through May while gradually drying in the summer and early fall.
